Camp Counselor- The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition Summer Camp

Compensation: $250/ week
The Alli Mae Carnes Studio is seeking a dynamic, friendly artist to serve in the capacity of Camp Counselor for our summer production of The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition. The Camp Counselor will guide campers through daily activities, support the needs of the production, and ensure everyone has a safe, positive, and fun experience.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead campers in rehearsals.
Encourage campers to embrace their creativity, make new friends, and step out of their comfort zones.
Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
Foster and inclusive environment where all campers feel valued and supported.
Act as a positive role model for campers, promoting teamwork, respect, and self confidence.
Help with camp logistics, including setting up spaces, managing snack and lunch times, and other daily duties.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old.
Previous experience working with children is a plus, but not required.
A passion for theatre and performing arts.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Enthusiastic, patient, and energetic with a genuine interest in creating a fun and safe environment for campers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and creative workspace
