Camp Counselor- The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition Summer Camp

Session 1

  • June 15-19, June 22-27

Session 2

  • June 29-July 3, July 6-11

Compensation: $250/ week

The Alli Mae Carnes Studio is seeking a dynamic, friendly artist to serve in the capacity of Camp Counselor for our summer production of The Spongebob Musical: Youth Edition. The Camp Counselor will guide campers through daily activities, support the needs of the production, and ensure everyone has a safe, positive, and fun experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead campers in rehearsals.

  • Encourage campers to embrace their creativity, make new friends, and step out of their comfort zones.

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times.

  • Foster and inclusive environment where all campers feel valued and supported.

  • Act as a positive role model for campers, promoting teamwork, respect, and self confidence.

  • Help with camp logistics, including setting up spaces, managing snack and lunch times, and other daily duties.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.

  • Previous experience working with children is a plus, but not required.

  • A passion for theatre and performing arts.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Enthusiastic, patient, and energetic with a genuine interest in creating a fun and safe environment for campers.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in theatrical production, performing arts, visual design, or related fields

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced creative environments

  • Experience working with artists from age 5-105

  • Reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm for the arts

  • A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and creative workspace
