Tuck Everlasting TYA Edition
What would you do if you could live forever?
Eleven-year-old Winnie Foster yearns for a life of adventure beyond her white picket fence, but not until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck family does she get more than she could have imagined. When Winnie learns of the magic behind the Tuck’s immortality, she must fight to protect their secret from those who would do anything for a chance at eternal life. As her adventure unfolds, Winnie faces an extraordinary choice: return to her life, or continue with the Tucks on their infinite journey.
Based on the best-selling children’s classic by Natalie Babbitt, adapted for the stage by Claudia Shear and Tim Federle, and featuring a soaring score from Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, the TYA edition of Tuck Everlasting is a condensed 70-minute version of the Broadway production, re-conceived by the authors to be performed by nine actors.

Hadestown Teen Edition Session 1
This intriguing and beautiful folk opera delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience. Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone – Hadestown invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back. Inspired by traditions of classic American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz, Mitchell’s beguiling sung-through musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.
Performances:
July 12 @7PM
July 13 @3PM & 7PM

Shrek Jr. Session 2
Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

July 26 @3PM & 7PM
July 27 @7PM

HoneyBee Coaching Workshop
I decided to partner up with my friend, Alyssa White (owner of HoneyBee Coaching), to offer a workshop for students who struggle with performance and/or audition anxiety specifically. Alyssa is one of the most talented people I know, but she's also a licensed mental health counselor. This will be a unique mock audition masterclass with a focus on mental wellbeing in addition to singing/acting technique. With individualized feedback and tips from a vocal coach and a mindset coach, this masterclass will support students in practicing their audition skills while also learning techniques to foster confidence and handle audition nerves.

Workshop with Rance Wright
Our next workshop will be with RANCE WRIGHT!
I met Rance this summer at Boston Conservatory and y'all, Rance's students are BOOKED AND BLESSED. His students have booked the National Tour of Annie and Frozen, and the Broadway shows of Music Man, Beetlejuice, Lightning Thief, and many others. He has casting agents calling him all the time asking if he knows anyone that would be good for a particular role. He is a guy you want to know. Here's a bit more about him:
RANCE WRIGHT received his MFA, MM and Vocal Pedagogy Certificate from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee and holds a BFA in Music, Dance and Theatre from Brigham Young University. He is an accomplished performing arts professional with over 20 years of experience as a consultant, casting director, voice/acting teacher, manager and performer. Rance is the proud CEO/Owner of The Wright Way Coaching which during the pandemic of 2020 pivoted quickly and became known for its online programming. Due to the need of clientele he produced seven professional shows both online and in-person and The Wright Way Coaching became one of the top coaching programs for performers in the country with students performing nationally as leads in many of your favorite Broadway shows. His recent credits also include associate casting the national tours of Guys and Dolls, Grinch, and A Christmas Story alongside NY casting veteran Alison Franck of Franck Casting. Rance recently also Associate Directed, A Step Beyond The Rain at the Fringe Festival alongside New York director Joshua Warr and also is the acting for the stage instructor at the American Musical Theatre Academy in New York City. In 2015 Rance created a performing arts program for Turn Community Services in Utah helping advance communication skill sets for adults with special needs. His unique style and creativity are the perfect combination for very successful learning initiatives. As a musical theatre artist, Rance’s performance credits include numerous Off-Broadway shows, National tours, and regional productions. Rance foresaw a need to help others gain a greater knowledge and understanding of their talent and art; that desire combined with his entrepreneurial spirit quickly led to the birth of The Wright Way Coaching, a proud part of Wright Way Productions, LLC. Rance’s personal and professional experiences along with his ability to see the talent and creativity in others has transcended his focus to furthering the knowledge and understanding of theatre, music, and dance for adult and young performers alike. Recognized professionally as one of the leaders in artists career development and utilizing “communication through theatre” for the personal advancement of artists and special needs adults are quickly becoming hallmarks of his career. Rance is a dedicated professional artist with a distinctive vision. Through dynamic and results-driven classes, consultations and special event courses Rance has helped catapult the careers of many up and coming artists. Holding himself to higher standards has solidified his business relationships with clients and colleagues.
